Last night during the World Series, the second baseman on the Houston Astros, Jose Altuve grounded out in the top of the 8th.
The announcer, Joe Buck, immediately says “that was a productive out.” With out anymore information you might be curious why Buck would say this.
What you don’t know with only the information above is that there was a Houston Astro on 2nd base that was able to move to 3rd base because of Altuve’s hit.
Productivity doesn’t always have to look like a bases loaded, bottom of the 9th, walk off Grand Slam.
Sometimes it needs to be a ground ball out that moves a runner one more base closer to home.
Often times we want to hit Grand Slam’s everyday with our Gospel focused productivity, but that’s not real life.
Focus on your daily steps and at least get “a productive out” today. One small daily step everyday for the next 90 days makes a huge difference in accomplishing your goals.
